Adlai E. Stevenson & The Smithsonian

In 2007, I bought two red vinyl 78 speed 12 inch records at a Bakersfield, CA yard sale for 25 cents a piece. Unbeknown to me, they contained historical material from Adlai E. Stevenson's 1952 Democratic Presidential campaign bid. They are now housed at the Smithsonian.

Dr. Demento

Once Upon a Time, I found one of the worst records ever made, it was 'Little Brother' by Rod Harris. A record so bad and obscure not even Dr. Demento knew of it's existence. After his 1st listen Demento agreed, and called it "A classic "bad record.", one of the worst ever".

Beams - TAPE

This was Super 8 Footage I made in 2003, in Brunswick, Australia on the Upfield Railway - I later posted it on You Tube to the track 'Beams' by TAPE from their LP 'Luminarium' issued on Häpna Records.

Reagan Endorses George Murphy

In 1964 Californian actor George Murphy was elected to the United States Senate. As part of the campaign, a promotional vinyl LP was issued with endorsements for Murphy from prominent citizens. One of these endorsements was from fellow actor Ronald Reagan. This release is now housed at the Ronald Reagan Library.

Neil Hamburger 1998

Interview with Neil Hamburger during 'Paint The Clear Gloss' on Radio 3RRR recorded on March 18, 1998. This also included the debut of 'Zipper Shtick 97', which was later issued as 'Neil Hamburger Pays Tribute to Diana, Princess of Wales' 7" on Planet Pimp Records'.

While going through the stock at Darkstar Records in Bakersfield, CA - I found what I thought was one of the worst records ever. The artist was Rod Harris, the track 'Little Brother' issued on Natural Sound Records. The subject matter of 'Little Brother' was meant to be a serious matter, however the hilarity factor undid any sincerity Harris intended. I sent a MP3 of the single onto Dr. Demento, and even he was surprised by it's content.
